superior task avoidance skills (remedial spelling ones)
So, I suppose this is the college experience. I have two days left here in school, and I am just realizing this is college not summer camp. I have also decided that school is communism- well, at least finals are. Questions on this theory- you can ask me, I'm too out of it to explain it right now. I went to bed around 4 am..... studying for an exam that does not really matter- if i get a 40, i get a B in the class. Unless i get a 100 i get a B in the class. Why study? Cause I'm a do-do head. Yes, that is a ophisticated college insult. ;-) As i sit and try to study, I hear the wheels in my unit mates heads turning....not literally. Actually, I hear " Go study!!" " No you go study"
"I can't , you're distracting me!" "no- you're distracting me!!!!!!"
" YOU GUYS,SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!"
"She started it."
" Ineed ..... COFFEEEEE!"
"Everybody , shut up I have a final!"
"You shut up!"and so on and so forth. You wonder why I wait until late at night to study. I really am going to miss the girls that I live with here... they've become like my famile... a little louder, more hormonal, less cleanly and quirkier family, but a family nonetheless. I will miss "Lena-mom" , "dad" and everyone else. I LOVE YOU UNIT X!

How appropriate that today, the first day of exam week is also an international distress call. One muses odd things after 4 hours of sleep and a triple shot espresso.

So, it's true- I am really, finally on spring break. Getting here was not without it's challenges, however. 20 minutes into the trip CRASH!!!!!!! That's right ladies and gentlmen, My very first car accident! Thunderducky is ok, and so were we... it wasn't even my fault. However, after that unfortunate incedent , Annie, Evan and I found ourselves in the 85 degree tampa weather, on West Kennedy Blvd... watching the friday rush hour traffic creep by with the most cranky lady I have probably ever met for the next two hours! (all the while, other CCC students passed and mocked- as we were on the only road you could take to get to 275north- which is the only way home) Sigh. Other evernt s of the trip... some random guy peeing on the side of the road... getting lost in Tallahasse (of all places) and the most unfortunate........ pitch black, adn then out of no where- blue flashing lites. Yes, with in a matter of hours- I was in my first car accident and got my first speeding ticket ($180.50) Sigh. Friday was not my day!! So far , the rest of my trip hasnt really followed suit. Saturday I got to spend time with Allyson, and proceeded to have a really fun and mischeivious night with Abby and Taylor- miss you taylor- We stayed up until like 5 am... and then went to church. Sunday was Dj's birthaday- happy birthday love! He and I just had a really fun time together. Also- we saw some people "getting freaky"- really freaky- on the beach as we ate our dinner....and I got locked in the port-a-potty, and DJ had to break the lock to get me out- but let's not go there! Neway... today i got up at the butcrak of dawn (after staying out till 12:30 am... and went and worked out for two hours with my mom. Then was grocery shopping , and then somehow I ended up asleep on the couch as DJ and Mike played video games..... After that I got to watch Allyson and my mom at thier dance class... so cute. I am really happy to be home- and I have made some pretty important descisions so far this week. #1- I am coming home next semester and going to pjc, unless God qite obviously shows me He wants elsewise. #2I am going to change my major to el. ed. #3 I am going to get off the stinkin computer and go to bed- I am so stinkin sleepy! 'night all.

I layed out for about two hours yesterday. I am seriously regretting it today. I am soooo burnt! I just hope I can keep from peeling- then it will have been worth it. The week has been going well so far. I haven't been to extremely busy, but then again, i haven't had time to be bored either. As soon as i get done with my Outline for English class tomorrow, I am pretty much done with hard stuff for the week. I got my midterm grades today- all B's and 1 A- in MATH?!!! I am awful at math, yet..... well I'm not complaining. I don't think I've ever gotten an A in math! I just got back from Target with Chris, Colleen, and Val... we were underwear shopping for the party tomorrow. Well, they shopped- I was simply thier ride. We are having an underwear party tomorrow night- fun fun!!! Aghh. My headhurts! But newho- Jessica's play opens tomorrow, but we are going on Saturday... so excited! But neway, I have work to do- woohoo so adios!

Sometimes I wish that were five again. That would be so awesome. I would be stress free. Money and school and house and work would be play instead of stress. And it's really impossible to fight with your best friend if she's Barbie and plastic. Yup, being five would be just dandy. Then, when I'm tired of wishing I were five, I wish that I were twenty-five. I would have some semblance of an idea where my life was going. I would be married to DJ and we would have a house and a garden and a dog. Being twenty-five definitely seems like it would have its perks. But then, I remember my life. As crazy, confusing, and lonely as it is sometimes- I really wouldn't trade it for anything. God is just so amazing. He is so real and awesome, and just present . His mercies really are new every morning. It's not that I'm just so happy to be 18 and have no idea where in the world my life is going. I'm just so happy to be in love with the God of the universe , and He's in love with me. I'm His princess, and He's my King. I'm happy to be alive every day, and wake up every morning to His new mercies. " Jesus, Your love makes me sing!"

Almighty God, the great I am Immovable rock, omnipotent, powerful, awesome Lord Victorious warrior, commanding King of Kings Mighty conqueror, and the only time the only time I ever saw Him run
CHORUS: Was when He ran to me, He took me in His arms Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again” Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes With forgiveness in His voice He said, “Son do you know I still love you?” He caught me by surprise when God ran
The day I left home I knew I’d broken His heart And I wondered then if things could ever be the same Then one night I remembered His love for me And down that dusty road ahead I could see It was the only time – it was the only time I ever saw Him run
And then He ran to me, He took me in His arms Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again” Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes With forgiveness in His voice He said, “Son do you know I still love you?” He caught me by surprise as He brought me to my knees When God ran – I saw Him run to me
BRIDGE: I was so ashamed, all alone and so far away But now I know He’s been waiting for this day
I saw Him run to me, He took me in His arms Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again” Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes With forgiveness in His voice I felt His love for me again
He ran to me, He took me in His arms Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again” Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes With forgiveness in His voice He said, “Son”, He called me Son He said, “Son do you know I still love you?” He ran to me and then I ran to Him When God ran

angela-pangelaThis is the blog of me- Angela. I'm afraid it doesnt contain much intersting stuff, just the current rants of a 18 yr. old.
You dont have to take anything to seriously except for this message, if you get nothing else from this blog- i want you to know that there is someone who cares about you more than you will ever understand- so much in fact, He would die for you, in fact He did. Everyone in the whole world has sinned, and as the Bible says "come short of the glory of God" even if you're a little short of being perfect, you're still short, not like at a store where they will spott you the extra penny or so. There is a price to go to heaven, and this is a price that noone can pay for themselves. Jesus Christ had to come to earth and die on the cross to pay this debt. He died for YOU , and whether you accept that or not, it doesnt change the fact. All yuo have to do to accept this payement is tell God you know you are a sinner (you've fallen short) and you believe that God sent his only Son , Jesus, to pay your debt. Accept Christ as your savior today, and it will be the best descision you will ever make. if you have any ?'s at all, just tag me, and i'llget back with you.
